The luxury brand had shared pictures of the BTS members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook sporting their outfits from the collection. Following the announcement, fans were quick to notice that Deepika Padukone has also liked the pictures by giving a heart to the BTS' new achievement. However, this is not the first time Deepika surprised the BTS fandom. In 2019, Deepika was seen sporting a purple body-hugging gown at an award function and captioned it saying, 'I Purple You', the phrase that has been coined by the BTS member V. For the uninitiated, Deepika became the first Bollywood actor to star in Louis Vuitton's Pre-Fall 2020 campaign along with other global icons. She had announced it on Instagram by saying, 'I am beyond thrilled to be joining the Louis Vuitton family! To be a part of Nicholas Ghesquière's vision for the world’s most iconic brand is not only exciting but also very humbling! Presenting... #LVprefall20.'

Deepika was featured in the campaign shoot wherein she was seen dressed in a checkered black and white midi dress. She paired it with a grey overcoat, mini belt bag and a pair of green quilted boots. She was seen posing in front of Michelle Gagnon's fiction thriller Don’t Turn Around poster.

Nicolas Ghesquière, a French fashion designer, had handpicked Deepika for the campaign along with Sophie Turner, Léa Seydoux, , and others.
